Running two OS on one side with a laptop XP OS boot problems choose to XP without choice?

Hello, I recently purchased a laptop with my partner a wine is on C:. But the problem occurs when i turn on the computer automatically boots to XP. I tried to change time in boot.ini but given 30 seconds, but does not give me a choice of XP or but still does the same when it restarts. Anyone help me!
