Video Tools Freeware

Need some freeware suggestions?

‘ello, I am a future web designer/developer and programmer. I need some freeware tools that will replace my other tools which aren’t “legal”. I want to come clean and just use what I can get.

So far this is what I found that I would consider using:
Microsoft Express Editions
GIMP
Inkscape
Nvu
Notepad++
Paint.NET
Dev-C++

I also need some converters for image, video, and audio

What about XNA game thing from microsoft? I want to make games, is it good?

How about any suggestions on what you use or recommend

Those programs on the list are just listed in no order, i know I won’t need Paint.NET and GIMP, by the way

Theres a great converter for Video, MP4 called ProjectX (free) It works really well at compressing and burning video CD or DVD.
