What is the best brands that Home Depot sells for power tools?

My fiance shops at Home Depot alot. And he is going to start wood working soon and he wanted to know what were some good brands that Home Depot sells. He knows Ridgid is a good brand, but is there any other good ones to buy there? Thanks!

I’d recommend doing some searching on tool reviews. There are many companies that make good tools. Not all of each companies tools are all excellent. So… Bosch makes some great tools same with Milwaukee, Makita, and DeWalt. Ridgid has a few tools that are good and several that are junk, imo. Makita and Milwaukee seem to get the best reviews for cordless tools, right now.
