I've written about the best online broker in Canada for the use and before reaching a conclusion different from that which I currently hold to be true, earlier, had made my decision based on reading in the Globe and Mail survey of online brokers. His studio is ideal for the average investor, an investor who knows little about the stock market and must have his hand out while walking along Bay Street or Wall Street. I myself was very little experience with means of online brokers only recently, but I have learned over the last couple of years, using a couple of online brokers you know, is that the price and performance criteria are by far the most important to differentiate the top of the pack at the bottom.

Let me be more specific providing my experience and my decision to online broker in Canada.

My first experience with online brokers Qtrade came through. According to the Globe and Mail that were and remain the best online broker in Canada. I must admit that at first seemed like a big online broker, my trading costs were much lower, the platform research is very good, and the customer service was very good.

Did I just say their customer service is very good? What I meant was their customer service is very good unless you need to fall below the $ 1000 minimum account balance. I found a bit of a surprise when I asked to put $ 200 down the minimum balance to pay the bill before my paycheck came in the next day. Because I was not allowed to pass below the minimum balance on my account for a day I decided to close all 3 of the accounts and seeking a better runner online.

This time I did my own research. I have reviewed a number of runners Online Qtrade investors, E * Trade Canada, TD Waterhouse, BMO InvestorLine, Credential Direct, RBC direct investment, direct investment ScotiaMcLeod, Questrade, FREE TRADE, Disnat, CIBC Investor Edge, National Direct Investment Bank, HSBC Invest Direct eNorthern. Only if I do not think this is the list of 2009 of the Globe and Mail, from top to bottom of the online brokers in Canada.

You have to start somewhere. I did my research on each of myself, but do not worry I will not bore you with the horrific detail here. What was ultimately decided that # 8 in the list of 14 was the best for me.

# 8 is Questrade. As much Questrade has the lowest rates online all the riders and has the best registration process, all documents can be filled out online and then everything you need is a transfer from online banking and e-mail of your Driver's License and SIN cards. The process was seamless. The tools of trade are identical the other online brokers, they all use the same software and just rearrange a little. They also have a 10/10 in customer satisfaction.

Trade Cost: $ 4.95 minimum to a maximum of $ 9.95, no matter how many shares you trade. It is based on $ 0.01 per share to the maximum. Thus that if I trade 100, 200, 300, or 400 shares to pay $ 4.95. In 500 I have to pay $ 5, 700 – $ 7, at 1,200,000 shares to pay $ 9.95 flat.

So where are they missing? Let's be honest and say the investigation does not suck. Do not give the keys to a spate of analyst reports as many of the other runners, however, if you are at all serious about investing, then you should be able to find this information easily through the web, and there are tons of sites offering this information free of charge.

I used the Questrade ProTrader platform with live quotes transmission and its addition WebTrader. Now the system operator of the Internet without transmitting live quotes as they are for payment unless you make more than 20 operations per month. As I am now considering same operator over a long period, the system seems WebTrader very well done.

Not only in my word yes. Just remember that most brokers online are asking your company to try to get something from them. Questrade offers a credit of $ 50 in free trade if you mean and gives the arbitrator $ 100 free trade. The catch though is that credit must be used within 3 months or fades. Unless the person sending much tariffs no way to use credit.
