Where I can find grant funds for teaching stained glass for the disadvantaged and exculed of society?
I set up shop in Norfolk to make my own Glass Studio. However I have a lot of space and would like to start running courses for disadvantaged people and people who have been excluded of society. I saw the amazing effect windows can have in this sector people.Learners not have to be amazing artists creatate incredible job. Working with and surrounded by coulor postive available, but take this with learning a practical skill that gives students the perfect platform to regain confidence, the pride, purpose and self-esteem, all the things that many people lose when isolated. I am looking for grants to surport the establishment and operation of these courses. Some teams specailist also have to be original to this course that is available to all. Institute Nationa Arts is a grant program. The same thing applies to the Foundation for the Performing Arts, I know that Windows is not a performing art, but they have a unit that deals with art in general. You can also try the School of Fine Arts in New York. The National Endowment for the Arts well. Hope that helps.
