Tools for Teachers
Why is education so poorly funded?
Teachers are underpaided. Personally i think teachers should be paid 60,000 or more a year. Because it is a very stressfull job and plus teachers are the tools for the development of kids. Also many schools have to cut back on teachers programs and such. I know the country is in really bad shape. So why don’t we just take some funding out of the military.
60,000 dollars is right if qualified. How come doctors are lawyers make so much? Just take out some funding for the military and reduce salary on doctors and lawyers. TA DA.
we fund our education system with $70 billion dollars a year
our education is one of the highest funded in the world
we have legendary institutions like Yale and Harvard, which produced superior politicians and world leaders like George W. Bush, Benazir Bhutto of the thriving democracy that is Pakistan, Aung Shang Su kyi of the prosperous superpower that is Burma.
citizens of the world flock to America for a reason. it is for the best education in the world. we are home to the highest standards in safety, technology, healthcare, we endorse free market capitalism, our economy is strong, 10 trillion dollars in surplus, people are smart and employed, good paying jobs, and . . .
awwww who am I kidding?! people here are a bunch of stupid dipshlts. I’m from malta and got a scholarship to study Yale economics and I swear, i have never met such stupid brainwashed people in my life. and that was at YALE for god sakes! XD what a disappointment
you americans are so indoctrinated by your media, education and past war time Cold War propaganda, you think “democracy” is the best form of governance when in fact? democracy is what put your nation in jeopardy right now. you guys think “free market capitalism” is the answer to everything, and centralized govt planning “never works” look on television right now. you got brainless drones on MSNBC advocating free markets? XD
the professor I have is a f**king idiot! he wanted to give us a lecture about how china manipulates their currency. in the first 3 minutes, i interrupted his rant and asked him, “How do they do it? got any evidence?” and he stood there like a retard and couldn’t even answer such a simple question.
How about you? What caused your great depression? who owns your federal reserve? why are your politicians puppets to wall street? why do wall street investors get billions of dollars in bonuses each year? I bet you can’t even answer a single ONE of these questions!
but actually yeah, i agree with you. education here needs to be better in order for you guys to get out in the world and compete with other nations. but that’s never going to happen b/c you folks aren’t even in control of your own govt, plus they increased tuition fees so it’ll be harder for average citizens to goto college w/o being in debt.
i think the income gap between teachers should rise, and the money paid to football players and actresses should drop by a lot. they’re not even important.
hey man, forgive me if i sounded like i was trying to offend you earlier. I’m not, i was just really surprised at the hogwash and crap they teach here. people aren’t open minded and they have a predisposed position on political and economic systems when they don’t even know WTF they are.
anyway, cutting military spending is not a good idea. your politicians will play the fear card “terrorism! terrorism!” you guys have hundreds of military bases in total all over the world. 14 new ones are being built in iraq, not to mention your military hardware is overpriced. go look up how much it costs for a B-2 bomber. or the fact that a single screw on an F-15 costs $1000 dollars and 5 cents.
Hmmm . . . corruption anyone?
my pizzas ready
gotta go
