Do girls REALLY want a nice guy?

Ok im my experience girls are always saying there are no good guys out there and stuff but the last two girls I dated I was super nice to and the ended up breaking up with me for two tools. My first girlfriend even said she would have been better oiff staying with me. The next girl I dated made a huge deal about how all the guys she dated where all *** holes and all this stuff and I was honestly nicer and more caring towards her then anytone in my life and so she goes on spring break and comes back with a frat boy who seems like a complete idiot. I don’t get it, I have never cheated on anyone or done anything but yet I keep ending up being rejected. I should add that I’m not even mad at my ex-girlfriends I am good friends with both of them but it’s super confusing and if being nice isn’t enough to keep someone you care about what is??? I Should add Im not a cheesy ga-ga guys but I was always nice about important things.

Girls can like nice guys, but they have to be a challenge. They also like complete jerks for similar reasons, but it sounds like you’re genuinely a nice guy so I’ll keep my advice along those lines.

First, in the beginning part of the relationship – don’t be easy to get. Break off conversations because you have to be somewhere else. Make her worried that you might be interested in other girls. In fact, be interested in other girls. Date as much as you can even if you just started dating someone you like – make that *especially* if you just started dating someone you like.

Don’t be the first to propose an exclusive relationship – no matter how much you want one. The more she thinks you’re looking at other girls, the less she’ll look at other guys – it’s really weird but true. If she thinks that you’re all locked up then she’ll be looking for an upgrade.

During a committed relationship, act like she’s on thin ice sometimes. If she pisses you off, tell her where the door is. If she thinks you really might break up with her over something then her mind will be on keeping you and not on finding someone else.

In short, never let a girl get comfortable and you’ll be in good shape. It’s completely counter-intuitive and it doesn’t come naturally to nice guys. However, it works and it can be done without being an outright jerk. Just make sure you really want the girl because if you do it right then she’ll be hard to get rid of.
