Any gift ideas for an 82 year old man?

My father in law is an 82 year old that is so hard to buy for, he doesnt need tools anymore and he doesnt like to get anything like colognes or bath stuff, he is the kind of guy if he needs something he will just go buy it, I am stumped on him every year at Christmas time, and so I usually put him off until last thing then run out and buy him something he dont like, any ideas would be very helpful? Thanks…

Here’s something that he will always remember: contact your local flight school and get him a gift certificate for a half-hour “introductory flight”. About $50. They will show him what all is involved with checking over the plane, explane how it works, and then take him in the air. Once a few thousand feet in the air, they will even let him steer it. They may even fly over his house and let him take pictures.
There is no pressure involved to learn. They realize it’s not for everyone. Plus, they make a few bucks and even adds to their pilot’s log for much needed airtime. It is a ‘win-win- situation for both.

I’ve recommended this to friends before, and everyone who’s done it LOVED it.
