ie7 page can not be opened?
Oki just got another laptop, I can not open any page unless it is directly related to type in. I try to go to the online help and gives me the can not display the web page or a connection problem error message. If I click a link that can be reached opens another tab and I get the same msg. I went through the IE Tools menu and went line by line with the browser that works and that dosnt help. I can to diagnose the network and says it found a problem that can not be repaired automatically and contact your ISP if I have a connection to the computer fair at his side.
Try this: Go to Start / Control Panel / Options and then click Internet Options Advanced tab of Internet Properties window opens and at the bottom of the screen Advanced tab there is a reset button. Click this button to restart and restore IE7 for installation options and delete cookies and temporary Internet files. If this is an IE7 problem this should fix the problem, if you still have the same problem after to restore IE7 and you have Windows XP, go to Start / Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs and click Remove for the program Internet Explorer 7 is installed and removed a Once you reboot. Once your laptop comes back up it will default to IE6 and you can go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx and re-download and reinstall IE7. If you have Vista, you'll need to investigate how to reinstall IE7 or refresh the Vista operating system from scratch.
