Automotive Tools – USA Set or metric?

Well, I was looking to buy / invest in a good tool set. I was thinking of complement. But I could not decide if I should get the U.S. Supplement in the set or the set of metrics. I think I heard somewhere that even the Amercian cars are changing the side of the meter. Which set should get and why? I work on all cars … Chevy, Ford, Toyota, Acura, Mitsubishi, etc.. Please, give me your comments.

Only recently also purchased a full set of new tools. But I went with Craftsman 155-piece set for $ 99. Http: / / www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?pid=00935155000&vertical=Sears&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes The price was great and the guarantee is great. It has metric sockets and "standard". Tomas reality there is much overlap of 1 / 4 and 3 / 8 and 1 / 2. In a backyard amateur, I like the fact that if they ever break, I take it to Sears and get a replacement the same day. If I were a professional mechanic coworker probably only could borrow or two pieces up to replace the broken part. But I do not want to wait days (or weeks) with all parts of the wrecked car waiting for something to go back in the mail. === Do not forget to vote for the best answer – please – whoever it is.
