Does my storage closet have a chance of blowing up?

I have a 3 story townhouse, and the first floor is a carport and a storage closet for yard stuff (lawnmower, tools, etc). There is also my main fuse box in the closet, and I have multiple electrical outlets with a few minor things plugged in.

I have a lawnmower, weedeater, gas blower, and many gas cans, so it always smells like strong gas fumes. There are 2 vents near the ground for flooding/air ventilation purposes, but it doesn’t seem like it helps with the fumes. Is there any chance that something can trip or spark and blow the house up?
Electrical outlets are up to code.

Well the electric code says that outlets in a garage need to be 4 feet off the ground. This is to help avoid the combination of gasoine fumes and any inadvertant sparks that might happen when unplugging something from the outlets.
How far off the ground are the outlets in the “closet” where the gas is?
