I am in need of a file organization tool for my music files?

I’m tired of my i-pod and phone having 6 different artist listings for the same artist due to the names having different spellings. Is there a program out there that will automatically sort and edit my files so that Ben Harper songs will be in the same artist listing as songs by benharper? I need a program that will directly effect the files themselves. I could go through one by one in my imusic program and edit each file, but that wont transfer for the files I have in Vcast Music Manager program(for my cell phone) since I upload music for both programs from a separate, rather large file where I store my music. Thanks for any help.

ID3tag tool, I hope you didn’t get a mac along with that ipod. This is a windows only thing and its free. ; )
