Why do so many people seem to have liked Zack Morris/Mark-Paul Gosselaar on Jimmy Fallon?

I thought it was stupid. Jimmy Fallon has always been a tool, and the Zack morris appearance was completely boring. It was all way too choreographed, and each line was delivered with the subtlety of a hammer.
So, why did people like this?
I am just pumped for the reunion, who did not like watching Saved By the Bell?
