One year old with very fat feet?
My son just turned one year old and has very wide fat feet. He is not walking yet (but hopefully will be soon) so we’re not as concerned about shoes for that. But we are concerned now that it is winter and turning cold…so we’d really like shoes for him.
But we cannot find ANY that are wide enough without being way too long. Someone recommended Stride Rite but we cannot afford to pay $40-50 for a pair of shoes he will only wear for a short time. I measured his foot w/ their online measuring tool and he needs a XXW. I tried to look on Ebay but can only find his size in XW, not XXW.
Anyone have any other ideas? Any other brands that carry shoes this wide? We did buy him some boot-type slippers for now. They still don’t stay on that well and will not be warm enough for when it gets really cold here in MN.
payless carries wide. also take a look at ross, i just picked up a pair of 40 dollar osh kosh wide for six bucks!! warmer weather we use crocs. i bet you he has cute fat feet!! good luck!
