This article presents 10 new features of Office 2007 screen you can easily find in Office 2007 programs.

1. Office Button

It is that large, round control in the upper left corner of some Office 2007 applications. Offers the basics, such as New, Open, Save and commands, along with some newcomers, such as preparing and publishing.

2. Tape

The bar at the top of the window that contains command-tab pages and icons. The belt consists of:

  • Such as the tab Home, Insert, etc. Each card contains several groups and each group has its own command icons.
  • Group: A section of a chip. By example, the token has the following groups: Clipboard, Font, Paragraph, Styles, and editing.
  • Dialog Box Launcher: a small icon in the lower right corner of a group, which may open a dialog box associated with that group.

Each tab corresponds to a task. For example, in Word, the tab contains the writing tools most commonly used options such as font formatting and style options.

6. Galleries

A gallery is a set of thumbnail graphics that represent a set of formatting options that can be applied to various elements in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access 2007. Examples include table styles, chart styles, and themes in PowerPoint.

7. Live Preview

It is a feature that works in conjunction with a gallery styles to obtain an preview the results of formatting options. So you can switch quickly from one election to another, and try different format series without committing to anything until ready.

8. KeyTips

KeyTips designed to serve as keyboard accelerators for access to various topics of the Ribbon. Just press the ALT key and pressing the appropriate keys as described further in the KeyTips labels.

9. Screen enhancement

It gives some explanations of the icons of the tape, well as the keyboard shortcut for the icon in particular. Just move your mouse over the icons and you see it.

10. Status Bar

Show in the bar at the bottom of the screen of the document. The bar offers options like zoom control expansion and display options (Design Print, Outline, Project, etc.).
