K & N Air Filter Installation Kit 2000 Nissan Frontier King Cab XE?

I have installed new plugs in my 2000 Nissan Frontier King Cab XE more 5 years and 93,000 miles. Since the plan on installing new plugs and wires while I'm on vacation next month, I have entertained the idea of replacing K & N filter (rectangular) which I bought immediately after purchasing the new vehicle in 1999 with the kit K & N filter (Part # 57-6005). How difficult it is to install this kit? What tools are needed? How much is this thing?

Sounds like just a replacement filter, in which If you do not need any tools. You only need to pop the clips on the airbox, lift the top, remove the old filter and install the new. If it is of a "performance" filter (cone), then there will be very good instructions included with the kit (K & N usually gives very detailed instructions in their products). Cheers.
