Password reset on Brocade 4/24 SAN Switch for HP c-Class BladeSystem?
I need to find a tool or a procedure in wich can reset all the account passwords since 2 admins where working on the same switch at the same time caused a huge password glitch! please anyone, help!! i need to find a way to reset the password to admin, user and all acounts on a Brocade 4/24 SAN Switch for HP c-Class BladeSystem. thanks!
if you know the switch’s root password, try the procedure in the section “recovering forgotten passwords”:

if that doesn’t work or if you don’t know or forgot the root password, you’ll have to contact hp’s tech support. according to page 449 of hp’s version of the fabric admin os guide:

the procedure is supposed to be on page 116. but, that page is blank. probably done intentionally for security reasons. typical hp. they’re pretty anal about that kinda stuff. good luck.
