Does a computer fixing job works for a AK amputee?

I have a friend who is over 40 who lost his leg in a car accident 5 years ago so he is a AK amputee, but before that he used to work in the automotive field, but after the crash it seems not to be a place for him anymore. As he tried to be possitive, he applied for many aprenticeships, and go to college, where he even got an excelence award, but nobody really cares. He finally quit and look for another options, like TI and finished, however, it wasn’t too practical and motivating considering that he is a man who loves to work with his hands and fix it all what is damage or broken. So he took another couses in web design and computer fixing. To me, Its just great, and I think he can do it great; nevetheless, I don’t want to see him down again. I wonder which could be good ways to improve his chances of sucess. Anyway, he needs to start somewhere, so I am thinking to give him some books and maybe a computer repair tool kit this Xmas… Any suggestion?

I am a computer repair technician and run my own business. I think it’s a great idea for him! If he has the capital to startup a business, he should go for it.
