What’s the REAL warranty deal with Snap On Tools?

So I have over 30 grand in Snap On hand tools, most of which weren’t bought from the Snap On dealer. The only time I met the Snap On guy was for an insurance claim. So over the years I have broke some tools and bought some broken tools at garage sales. I’ve meant to get with the Snap On guy to get them replaced, but will he actually replace them? What requirements must the tool meet to be replaced…how broken is broken? I’ve gotten tools replaced from Craftsman without a hassle, but I’ve heard that the Snap On dealers don’t like to deal with “non-frequent buying” customers. Should I be worried to contact the Snap On guy or will he be happy to help me?
