Google Tools Dictionary

Why are there so many people on Yahoo Answers convinced that the use of translation software website is a smart idea?
I mainly hang around language pages on Yahoo Answers, and have noticed that many sincere people respond to requests for translation, either using Google translator (or babelfish), or worse, actively make fun of the question for not using it themselves. These tools do not work very well. Anyone who speaks more than one language knows, and anyone who speaks two languages genetically unrelated tastes great. The translation is more than looking up words in a dictionary. You can not expect a computer to answer a question when, inevitably, does not have enough information to respond. They are not magic boxes. How do these people with enough interest in language to post here, show little interest in whether these tools work or not? After all, why do not they work is an interesting topic in itself all …
I'm beginning to believe that people using the web translators are * not * necessarily convinced that the work – at least not all of them. You only must see the nonsense often shake out some of the answers at Yahoo! Answers – many of which are pure nonsense, or whole pieces of text without translation – to be realize that nobody, not even the idiots who use web translators – can not believe they have produced an acceptable translation. My conclusion is therefore that people who insist to use these sites on Yahoo and other forums are just lazy parasites, just out to get cheap points.
