I am really mad right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????

my brother is 3 years older than me. ever since he got a laptop a few years ago he has been OBSESSED with the computer. my parents tool it away and he is still dangerously obsessed with the computer. he steals, he gets suspended and gets low grades. i have recently got a laptop, and my brother has been upset he doesn’t get one. he acts different at home ( like he causes fights among my parents) and a few times the police had to be called. he got suspended so he stayed at home today. (usually my dad drops him at the library every time he gets suspended so he wont steal from us.) today when i was at school he used my laptop , he destroyed the settings, and now my youtube doesn’t work and my computer is messed. im really angry, what do i do???? what do you think of this???????

Hello Cupcake, well you mentioned that your brother is 3 years older, I don’t know how old he is, but it sounds like he has some slight immaturity issues do to perhaps wanting some type of attention. I do know that with some, it does become an obsession, a lot of people get addicted to using the computer, and perhaps, considering that he also steals and causes fights, there is a deeper issue than this. I think that your family might want to get together and have a kind of “intervention” and/or bring him to see a counselor or therapist. He sounds like he just has some pent up frustration and is not capable of expressing himself in a healthy way. I don’t know also how long this has been going on, but please try to be patient with him, as it seems that he also might be hurting and angry about something, and needs your parents help.
