how to change my web page back?

My husband , I think has changed my web homepage and now we have lost all the back, coupons, history and ect. buttons on the toolbar and we dont know how to change it back. I have gone to tools internet options and then to the default and okay okay and nothing happens can someone polease help we miss our old homepage if thats what it is called

mine is messed up also and no one seemed to be able to help. They told me to just create another one.
