how do I enable windows add-ons when the “manage add ons” feature isn’t available?

I was trying to clean up my PC following advice in a wiki article and now my yahoo mail doesn’t run and I can’t enable add-ons because under the “tools” feature, “manage add-ons” is not allowing me to click on it.

I would just recommend you to get Firefox. Because the add-ons are much more plentiful and are easier to add, run and use.
