increase pc video streaming and performance?

when i try and watch a video like on youtube its very slow like it would take 8mins to watch a 4min video i dont know how to make it faster i have a good internet connection ive tried disk clean up and disk defragment tool and set visual effects to adjust for best performance and deleted some unnessary programs and removed stuff from start up idk what else to do, it used to load vids pretty fast and im getting an extra 1GB of RAM couple days. what else could i do to improve performance and load vids faster?

Try cleaning out your browser history files. You can get CC Cleaner. It’s good at that. Is the speed of your internet connection this way all of the time or just certain parts of the day? If you have DSL you don’t have to worry about this, but cable internet can slow down because it’s a shared source to the internet. If you have a bunch of people on the node your using and they are using a bunch of bandwidth, you’ll notice a decrease in speed. It’ll really be noticeable at peak hours of use, between 7pm and midnight or so. If this is the case, your gonna have to get on your ISP. I had a problem with my ISP not upgrading their system, and charging me for high speed, but my downloads were at 50kb per second and my pings were 140 to 160. After bitchin at them for a while, they eventually fixed it and I got 3 months of free internet access! Let them know. It might be on their end. Good luck.
